Welcome to Wild Thickets, the newsletter where I ask some of my favourite makers and thinkers around the world to send me a postcard, once a season, which answers a simple question:

How are you rewilding?

By rewilding, we are concerned not only with the regeneration of ecosystems, but also our own selves. We look to those messy spaces that lie somewhere in between nature and culture in a more-than-human world, which George Monbiot refers to as “the rewilding of our own lives” and adrienne maree brown as “restoring our rhythm”.

These tales do not view wilderness as a mythical place where nature is separate from everything else. We've been there before, and we know all too well where it leads. Instead, we look to spaces of wildish repair, healing and celebration, where more-than-human webs are gathering.

Across these terrains, an archive is emerging. Let’s move with care. 
